Measure V Funding Priorities Survey

On November 8, 2016, voters approved a local half-cent sales tax measure, Measure V. With the passage of Measure V, Tracy's current sales tax rate is now 8.25%. Measure V will generate approximately $7-million annually, and roughly $140-million over the course of its 20-year life span.

The revenue raised from Measure V will go into the City's General Fund and could be used for any municipal purpose, which includes but is not limited to: police (patrol, 911, command, gang and narcotics enforcement, crime investigations, other police services); fire protection, emergency services; support services, street, sidewalk, landscape and park maintenance; senior and youth services; planning, business retention and attraction; building facilities (parks, sports fields, recreational buildings); and other general services.

Please take a moment to complete the following survey so that we may gather your thoughts on City funding priorities. The results of this survey will be presented to the City Council during a public meeting this spring, as part of the annual budget process.
